Technical training to develop and keep your sales team sharp
Finding qualified IT sales staff is an ongoing challenge. If you’re like a lot of our partners, you’re even trolling the popular electronics stores for prospective talent. And once they’re hired, you want to keep them up to date with timely and relevant technical knowledge. Beginning July 2017, Ingram Micro’s Solution Center will offer a competency-based curriculum developed to meet the ongoing needs of sales professionals who want to learn and develop their technical skills.
The Solution Center Grad Program consists of seven focus areas, including:
- Server compute
Each class will include the following topics:
- History of the technology
- Where is this technology now?
- What is the future of this technology?
- Key terminology
- Key vendors in technology space
- Key products
Each class will be available as a recorded WebEx session. Classes will range in time from 35 to 50 minutes in length and will be available for 90 days to complete. For recorded WebEx sessions, Ingram Micro’s six Solution Center engineers will post office hours for 1:1 access during the 90-day term of each class.
Each module concludes with a competency test to ensure knowledge retention. Available as Ingram Micro SKUs, you can purchase modules a la carte at $99 each, or take advantage of a bundled discount of $499 for all seven modules.
